Erika Flaskamp developed a love for music at a young age. Drawn to old Soul, Motown, and Jazz this has influenced her music even to this day. Her love for rich harmonies is apparent in each song she writes. Erika has played many different venues from Arenas, Festivals, to National theme parks and each venue is special to her from large to more intimate. She has recorded in many professional studios including the internationally famous Morrisound now owned by the Transiberian Orchestra which is still among her favorites. This collection of music with the exception of the Winter Owl releases come after several trials both emotional and physical. The newest songs are a collections of emotions that depict what most of us experience such as love, loss, regret, but also the ability to turn that around. This collection is also about overcoming, fighting against our past, learning from mistakes, and becoming a better version of ourselves. Erika believes in the power of music to heal hearts, raise spirits, and change minds. It is of her deepest hopes that any of songs within this collection will dojust that.
